Welcome to Auction Delivery. By booking a collection or delivery service with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure transparency and fairness for both parties and to clarify your rights and responsibilities as a customer.

1. Service Overview

Auction Delivery specialises in the transportation of large items (like furniture) and motorcycles, that are purchased from private or business sellers through online marketplaces like eBay, Facebook or similar . We offer a professional, insured, and fully managed service across various zones in the UK.

2. Delivery Timeframes by Zone

Our collection and delivery times will vary depending on the geographical delivery zone:

  • Zone 1: 2–5 working days from the time of booking
  • Zone 2: Within 7 working days from the time of booking
  • Zone 3: Within 7–14 working days from the time of booking
  • Zone 4: Within 14–21 working days from the time of booking
  • Zone 5: Available by application only

If you require a faster delivery service, we may be able to offer an express or direct delivery option. Please contact us before booking to confirm availability and additional cost.

3. Insurance and Liability

  • All items are automatically covered under our Goods in Transit Insurance up to a value of £10,000.
  • If your item exceeds this value, we can arrange additional cover upon request — please contact us prior to booking.
  • Auction Delivery and our contractors are responsible for the transportation and handling of your item. We do not use third-party parcel delivery companies.

In the event of any damage during transit, the following conditions apply:

  • You must provide clear photographs of your item prior to shipping.
  • You must provide clear photos and a written description of the damage immediately upon delivery or as soon as it is discovered.

4. Disassembly on Collection

If you opt for our furniture disassembly service at the point of collection, the following terms apply:

  • Furniture Disassembly will be completed by trained Auction Delivery staff or qualified contractors.
  • Any issues related to the disassembly must be reported as soon as possible.
  • Please include a clear description of the issue and, where appropriate, supporting photographs.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled collection may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • If we are unable to complete the service due to incorrect information or inaccessible pickup/delivery locations, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the item is ready for collection.
  • Provide accurate pickup and delivery information, including access instructions and contact numbers.
  • Ensure someone is available at both ends of the delivery (collection and drop-off) if required.

8. Limitation of Liability

Auction Delivery is not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, traffic conditions, mechanical breakdowns, or road closures.
