Auction Delivery was founded in 2025 by Tony, an experienced courier who spent 10 years running a delivery business that served eBay sellers, antiques dealers, vintage motorcycle specialists and private customers across the UK.
Recognising today’s shortage of a truly customer-first service, he launched Auction Delivery to bring back a good, old-fashioned service where reliability and respect for the item come before quick profits.

How it works
Book Your Delivery
- Get a tailored quote for your delivery
- Provide the collection and delivery details along with any special requirements
- Pay a 50% deposit for the delivery – the balance is paid upon completion of the job
- Receive a confirmation email with your booking details
Collection
- We can liaise with the seller of your item to arrange a convienient collection date and timeslot.
- On the scheduled date, one of our drivers will arrive at the specified location to collect the item.
- If applicable, we can dissassemble the item for safe delivery.
- We will ensure careful handling, including loading, covering and securing your item in our van to prevent damage during transit.
Transportation
- We’ll provide you with an estimated delivery date and timeslot.
- On the agreed delivery date, you’ll receive a live tracking link as soon as your item has been collected. We’ll also keep you updated about any delays that might affect the arrival time.
Delivery
- Once your delivery reaches its destination, our driver will carefully unload and deliver it to your specified address. This includes helping to place the item in a room of your choice.
- If you are the sender of the item, we can send you a signed proof of delivery with a photograph for extra peace of mind.

Delivery Timescales
Delivery times will vary depending on your area:
- Zone 1 (Local – Devon & Cornwall) Collection and delivery usually within 2–5 working days.
- Zone 2 Weekly delivery runs.
- Zone 3 Two to three weeks delivery time.
- Zone 4 Covered on an adhoc basis depending on demand.
- Zone 5 Price on application due to distance, ferry crossings, and scheduling.
For businesses with several deliveries to Scottish Highlands or Northern Ireland (Zone 5) or the North East of England (Zone 4), we can arrange a custom bulk delivery plan and quote accordingly — offering a cost-effective solution compared to individual shipments.
